Representatives from member countries of the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO), including Bangladesh, China, Mongolia, Pakistan, Peru, Thailand, and Turkey, visited HKATG/ASPACE on December 7, 2023. The delegation comprised department leaders from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China and the China National Space Administration, as well as representatives from space agencies of Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and other countries. They toured the ASPACE Hong Kong Satellite Manufacturing Center, HKATG Satellite TT&C Center, and Satellite Data Application Center.
The leadership of HKATG warmly welcomed the APSCO delegation and provided a brief overview of HKATG/ASPACE's operations and future plans. The APSCO representatives were impressed by the scale of facilities, advanced technologies, and automated production lines at HKATG/ASPACE, offering high praise. Members of the delegation engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges with researchers from HKATG/ASPACE regarding potential future collaborations.
This visit by the APSCO delegation further strengthens the cooperation between the two parties, fostering close collaboration and exchanges between HKATG/ASPACE and member countries of APSCO in satellite manufacturing, satellite TT&C, satellite applications, education and training. It holds significant importance for HKATG/ASPACE's international strategic initiatives and expansion of international business.
On April 24, 2024, USPACE Technology Group Limited and Strata, wholly owned by Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala), held their sixth working meeting in Hong Kong. Mr. Sun Fengquan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of USPACE Technology Group Limited, warmly welcomed the delegation from Strata and engaged in friendly discussions. Both parties extensively deliberated on cooperation and preliminarily reached a cooperation agreement.
On 19 March 2024, the International Space University (ISU), together with the USPACE Technology Group Limited (USPACE) and its connected ASPACE International Holdings (ASPACE), and the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), announced their partnership. Under this partnership, ASPACE is providing scholarships to Master students from underprivileged countries or regions to support ISU's efforts in inclusivity and the democratisation of space education.
