On April 18, 2023, Mr. Carmelo Ficarra, Consul General of Italy in Hong Kong SAR, and his entourage visited Hong Kong Aerospace Technology Group. Mr. Sun FengQuan, Co-Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Young, Chairman of Hong Kong Automation Technology Council, and Ms. Marian Gaultney, Director of International Partnerships in the Chief Executive Office, hosted the visit and had friendly talks on further deepening cooperation in the field of aerospace, actively exploring the impact of Hong Kong's "re-industrialisation" scheme on industrial manufacturing in Hong Kong and Italy, and exploring cooperation opportunities.
Mr. Carmelo Ficarra and his attaché Ms. Marila Velardi visited the Hong Kong Satellite Telemetry, Tracking and Command Center, the Hong Kong Satellite Data Application Center and the Hong Kong Satellite Manufacturing Center that will soon be completed and put into operation, and spoke highly of the Group's one-stop service of commercial satellite production, launch, telemetry, control and data application, and showed great interest in the diversification of commercial satellite data applications. He is also full of expectations for the rapid development of Hong Kong's aerospace industry. Previously, the HKATG and the Italian aerospace company D-Orbit discussed cooperation on satellite manufacturing and satellite technology, including HKATG to provide satellite and payload launch services for D-Orbit, to provide satellite manufacturing services for 20 satellites per year, and to assist D-Orbit to develop Asia market, D-Orbit to provide HKATG with the D-Orbit cloud platform etc. Founded in 2011, D-Orbit is the first company to address the logistics needs of the space market.

On 19 March 2024, the International Space University (ISU), together with the USPACE Technology Group Limited (USPACE) and its connected ASPACE International Holdings (ASPACE), and the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), announced their partnership. Under this partnership, ASPACE is providing scholarships to Master students from underprivileged countries or regions to support ISU's efforts in inclusivity and the democratisation of space education.
