The Grand Opening Ceremony for the "Hong Kong Satellite Manufacturing Centre" and "Hong Kong Satellite Operation Control and Application Centre" of ASPACE is scheduled to take place at the Advanced Manufacturing Centre (AMC) of Hong Kong on 25 July 2023, the headquarters of the Hong Kong Aerospace Technology Group Limited (HKATG) where the Centres are located.
At present, 53 representatives from 27 countries in regions of Asia, Europe, Africa, America, and Oceania have confirmed their attendance. Among others, Mr. Miguel Bello-Mora, Director of the Spanish Space Agency, Mr. Serdar Hüseyin Yıldırım, President of the Turkey Space Agency, and Mr. Ahmed Sabah Khalilu, Director-General of the National Space Research and Development Agency will join the Grand Opening Ceremony. Many other space organizations and their space departments as well as enterprises from more countries will also send representatives to attend.
The guests from various countries will have an on-site visit to HKATG's Satellite Manufacturing Centre and the Satellite Operation Control and Application Centre, including the Assembly, Integration and Testing (AIT) facilities, Telemetry, Tracking and Command (TT&C) Centre, and the Satellite Data Application Centre, and will collaborate with Hong Kong Aerospace Technology Group to explore how to utilize the facilities and equipment for cooperation and benefiting the development of the national and even global aerospace industry.
On April 29th, USPACE Technology Group Limited had the privilege of hosting a delegation comprising UPSACE Executive Director, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed Maktoum Juma Al-Maktoum and representatives from the UAE International Holding Company (IHC), led by Mr. Waleed. Mr. Sun Fengquan, Chairman and CEO of USPACE Technology Group Limited, warmly welcomed His Highness and the accompanying delegation. During this auspicious occasion, both parties engaged in extensive discussions regarding satellite manufacturing and application, as well as USPACE's strategic positioning within the space industry in the UAE.
On 19 March 2024, the International Space University (ISU), together with the USPACE Technology Group Limited (USPACE) and its connected ASPACE International Holdings (ASPACE), and the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), announced their partnership. Under this partnership, ASPACE is providing scholarships to Master students from underprivileged countries or regions to support ISU's efforts in inclusivity and the democratisation of space education.
