On 27 September 2023, the result of China Association for Geospatial Industry and Sciences (CAGIS) for "2023 China Geographic Information Science and Technology Progress Award" was announced. Hong Kong Aerospace Technology Group Limited won the special prize in the joint application project of "Major Infrastructure Deformation Radar Remote Sensing Key Technology and Demonstration Applications".
This project, focus on the cutting-edge technology of remote sensing mechanism of cloudy and rainy environment, has made breakthroughs in three key technologies: Interpretation of typical targets microwave sensing mechanism, robust estimation of InSAR deformation in complex and changeable infrastructure environment and integrated engineering treatment, forming a new integrated innovation result of "Remote sensing ground station - theoretical research - core technology - demonstration application - industry incubation".
At present, the results have been successfully applied to the Hong Kong International Airport, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, and the smart monitoring of infrastructure in Southeast Asian countries, achieving excellent results in demonstration applications.
On April 24, 2024, USPACE Technology Group Limited and Strata, wholly owned by Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala), held their sixth working meeting in Hong Kong. Mr. Sun Fengquan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of USPACE Technology Group Limited, warmly welcomed the delegation from Strata and engaged in friendly discussions. Both parties extensively deliberated on cooperation and preliminarily reached a cooperation agreement.
On 19 March 2024, the International Space University (ISU), together with the USPACE Technology Group Limited (USPACE) and its connected ASPACE International Holdings (ASPACE), and the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), announced their partnership. Under this partnership, ASPACE is providing scholarships to Master students from underprivileged countries or regions to support ISU's efforts in inclusivity and the democratisation of space education.
